Live Jazz – The Julia Quinn Band

Julia has been working with long time collaborator Tony Sandeman (guitar) Marc Cecil (Drums) Andy Staples (Bass) and Dan Banks (Keys) on her own live Jazz line up since 2016, after years of guesting with other bands.

Their set encompasses jazz, funk and gospel tinged blues numbers old and new and in the broadest of terms, from standards such as ‘Frim Fram Sauce’ and ‘Peel me a Grape’ to ‘Way Over Yonder’ and ‘Wade in the Water’, to modern day classics by Joni Mitchell and Roberta Flack, and jazz funk numbers by Incognito, Stevie Wonder, Sting, Michael McDonald, Michael Jackson and Chaka Khan.
